Artists/Stevies Wonder Glasses
Klumzy Tung, Mr.Dero, Dr.Pheel and Farina Miss make up the multi-talented, multi-national, live improvisation musical collective STEVIES WONDER GLASSES. Combining turntablism, live improvised drums, breathtaking vocals and freestyle's amore.
All solo artists' in their own right, they joined forces in the summer of 2008. In only a short space of time they have rocked venues from clubs, to festivals from England, to Austria to Germany and back again.
Their live show crosses many genres from Hip-Hop to Funk, Soul, Drum n Bass, electroesque and back again, without boundaries. Never afraid to test the waters and take a risk, the show involves crowd participation, incorporating the Technological Revolution of Freestyle in the form of ‘Klumzy Word Generator'.
The Generator enables the crowd to input words into the ‘Word Generator', which is projected on to a wall of the said venue, for Klumzy Tung to then incorporate into random word freestyle songs while the band produces the music for this song.
The crowd decide which direction the song takes.
STEVIES WONDER GLASSES are also currently showcasing tracks from the forthcoming EP THE LITTLE THINGS by Mr.Dero & Klumzy Tung.
The EP is a Hip Hop banga with the emphasis all on the music, BIG beats, and catchy, honest and energetic vocals.
Featuring the ever-amazing vocal talents of the soul princess FARINA MISS and also guest production on 'THE LITTLE THINGS' (The Single) by the ever reliably sick BEARDYMAN.
Keen to continue their early success, they are planning a tour for February 2009 to coincide with the release of THE LITTLE THINGS EP.
