The Band
Stevies Wonder Glasses are a unique dance floor-filling band with a multi-national line up, developed naturally through a shared passion for quality live music, artistry and entertainment.
The band is made up of Mr.Dero (Austria) on turntables & MPC, dr.pheel (Austria) on drums, Farina Miss (Germany) on the microphone with sassy soulful vocals and Klumzy Tung (UK) melodically spitting pre-written & freestyle raps.
The live show is a an eclectic up-tempo journey through Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Reggae, Electro and Drum ‘n‘ Bass, combining original songs, exclusive mash-ups and improvised freestyle audience participation to produce the kind of energetic performances that have been blowing away audiences across Europe since 2008.
The band have also added a classy three-piece brass section „THE HORNS" to the line-up when required, adding to their huge live sound, while complimenting their impressive on stage presence.
Stevies Wonder Glasses are currently showcasing tracks from their most recent album ‘The Little Things' which also features the talents of Beardyman, JFB, JStar, DJ Vadim, DJ Kompact and Amtrak and has spent many weeks at the number 1 position on the ‘Juno Download Hip Hop bestseller charts'. There are also two music videos online for two of the singles ‘The Little Things' and ‘Headscrews' which have amassed well over 80,000 views to date, as well JStar's remix of ‘No time to waste' making it on to The ‘Big Issue - Big Chill' compilation album helping to raise awareness and money for the homeless!
Their commitment to live performance has proved popular among promoters and fans alike and it is this passion that has seen them perform all over Europe, sharing the stage with respected artists from around the world including Beardyman, DJ Vadim, JStar, JFB, Marc Hype, DJ Rafik, JFB, Denyo, DJ MAD, Stig of the Dump, Disraeli, Jay Foreman, Reeps One and many more along the way.
Stevies Wonder Glasses are now planning their summer 2011 festival tour and are exactly the kind of band that a festival needs, bringing quality music to the people with an entertaining stage show.
