Well, we are so proud to support our all time homies d.b.h, Chrisfader and Testa with the digital release of their fabulous "Swapping Swingers EP".
There is also a lovely vinyl EP released on the amazing Duzz Down San label. If you get a chance to grab one of these rare records - do not waste your time and go for it.
Restless legs syndrome is a neurological disorder characterized by an irresistible urge to move one's body to stop uncomfortable or odd sensations." - Wikipedia

Although it might cause a similar urge, the Restless Leg Syndrome we're talking about here is of a less harmful nature. It's a musical team from Austria consisting of longtime DJ and producer d.b.h and the two turntable wizards Chrisfader and Testa, who split up most of the national DJ championships between each other in the last decade and also made a name for themselves as producers. The concept behind their joint-venture is quite simple: Take an old genre of music, sample and flip it into dancefloor-ready beats, from HipHop to House. In the case of their debut EP "Swapping Swingers" the focus is on the Swinging 1920s.
With the terrors of World War I behind them and the global economy not having crashed yet, people seemed to party especially hard in this period of time. Now, Restless Leg Syndrome captured that musical vibe in the hopes of turning 2012s dances similarly rowdy!

The remixes on this Ep were chipped in from Diamond Bass (Enchufada/Lisboa), Hat+Hoodie (Dbty/Berlin), CoolKidsCan'tDie (Esp Rec/Venice) and Tipanic (BigNHary/Vienna).
The Ep commits itself lovely to nearly all tropical-bass genres we know till now. From start to finish you get roped more and more into a very percussive-tribal-techy vibe, which makes you feel like a predator hunting through a packed and sweaty club. The whole EP stands out due to a very unique sound impression and a loving care of percussive groove elements. The original as well as the remixes are big and banging with delicate build-ups and very powerful main parts, which will definitely make some moves on the dance floor.

Bei dem kleinen aber feinen, (thymoleptisch wirkenden) Stimmungsmacher handelt es sich im konkreten Fall um die bezeichnenderweise ***THE LITTLE THINGS*** getaufte DEBÜT EP der britisch-österreichischen Beatbruderschaft zwischen Mr. DERO & seinem Londoner Kompagnon KLUMZY TUNG.
Der sechs Nummern starke, als Querschnitt auf die erscheinenden Solo-Alben der beiden Protagonisten fungierende Vorbote besticht durch eine ehrliche, erdige, auf das Wesentliche reduzierte Mischung aus HipHop, Reggae und Soul, fernab aller gängigen Plattidüden.
Durch die Fusion von Dero's inferenten Gespür für eingängige Melodien und Harmonien und Klumzy's humoristisch schonungsloser Wortgewalt, schuf man in zweijähriger, transkontinentaler Zusammenarbeit ein herausragend wohltuendes Remedium, in Mitten U.S. standardisierter Hip Hop Generika.
Weiters dazu beitragend die wunderbare FARINA MISS und der sagenhafte BEARDYMAN.
Klein aber fein präsentiert sich auch die Liste an REMIXERN die ihr Scherflein zur ***LITTLE THINGS EP*** beigetragen haben. Denn niemand geringerer als ***DJ VADIM***, der „Soundcatcher und hardest working dj in the showbusiness", ***JSTAR***, Englands Mashup King und Hitgarant, ***JFB***, der UK Dmc Champ 2008 und EdSolo's bessere Hälfte, sowie der almighty ***AMTRAK*** haben ihre Hand und Ohren an die Produktion angelegt, und verleihen dem Ganzen dadurch noch eine Extradosis an Internationalität und musikalischer Vielfalt.

Hmmm, schwierig, da es sich nicht wirklich in eine musikalische Kategorie pressen lässt. Auf jeden Fall eine Electro Issue, mit jeder Menge Grime, Dubstep und Minimal Elementen.

2006 brachten wir NEO's CAMOUFLAGE CANNIBAL T-Shirt Edition unter die Leute. Gedruckt wurde bereits damals, der Zeit weit voraus, auf ökologisch einwandfreien, Fair-Trade-Chic Textilien. Die in limitierter Edition erschienen Shirts der österreichischen Graffity und Tattoo Legende erreichten rasch Kultstatus und waren im Nu vergriffen. Kult ist, wer eines sein Eigen nennen kann...
BATTLEWAX VOL II // Vinyl // VÖ 2005 by Buzz, Mr.Dero & JFB
Das Nachfolgevinyl legt noch einen drauf. Zahlreiche Beats und Juggle-loops, sowie unzählige Drum-, Synth- & Scratchsamples, der Marke ‚ Never heared before!' als Endlosrillen angeordnet, warten nur darauf von battlewütigen Plattenjunkies abused zu werden.
Das erfolgreiche und auf Vol.1 bereits erprobte Konzept zwei DJs, jeweils ihre eigene Seite gestalten zu lassen, wurde beibehalten, und so gaben sich diesmal niemand geringerer als Mr. Dero, upcoming tiefparterre Artist, sowie DJ Buzz , well known from THE WAXOLUTIONISTS, die Ehre.
Während Buzz auf seiner Seite den Schwerpunkt klar auf multifunktionales Battleinstrument legt und neben einigen Beats & Breaks, sowie diversen Juggle- und Scratchloops, unter anderem ein Drumsamplearchiv zur Verfügung stellt, besticht Mr.Dero mit einer harmonisch wohlausgefeilten, eher beatlastigeren Seitengestaltung, die dieses Battlewax zum Universal- Hip-Hop Tool generiert und gleich zum Doppelkauf anregt.
Auch die Tradition einen dritten Gast-DJ einzuladen wurde gepflegt, und so kam es zu einer sehr erfreulichen Co-produktion zwischen Mr.Dero und JFB (Oneeyerecords/Hospital/UK); der englische Turntablewizard hat u.a. auf Hospital released und ist mittlerweile UK DMC Champion 2008.

Dieses von Djs für Djs konziperte Battlewax bietet alles was das DJ-Herz höher schlagen lässt, und schaffte es Beats&Breaks aus Graz weit über Österreichs Grenzen hinauszutragen und auf der europäischen, elektronischen Musiklandkarte zu positionieren.
Neben 12 treibenden Beats enthält dieses DJ-Tool zahlreiche, auf keiner anderen Platte zu findende Scratch-Samples und Juggle Sequenzen, die an Originalität und Frische kaum zu überbieten sind.
